Forgiveness!
The other day, Alpha got an email from a viewer about a guy who got picked-on. He feels guilty for not sticking up for him. In this video men’s style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM, AaronMarino, and Pete & Pedro has advice — say you’re sorry.
Alpha talks about his apology tour. Some of the people hadn’t spoken to for 25 years, but the net result was feeling better. The first one is hard. Alpha was so nervous, but he still did it. After the first, a tremendous weight was lifted and the flood gates opened!
Another result was Alpha looking at people who wronged him. He didn’t reach out to them, but he did forgive them. He unloaded resentment, hostility, and anger. He felt incredible, and the experience was amazing! The forgiveness was even more powerful than the apology. Forgiveness is the gift you can give yourself.
Alpha wanted to be happy, and to be fulfilled and happy, he had to let the bad things that happened to him ‘go’. He got his life back. He also made sure that people know what they mean to him, so he expressed his appreciation.
If there’s someone you didn’t treat well, the power of “I’m Sorry” is incredible. It’s healing and therapeutic to them, you will feel amazing even if they say they don’t forgive you. If you mean it, it’s the best you can do. Toss all of that baggage on the ground, and let it go.
