A lot of people in this world would rather steal from you than work hard. In this video men’s style, grooming, fitness, and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM https://iamalpham.com/ AaronMarino https://aaronmarino.com/ Pete & Pedro https://peteandpedro.com/ Tiege Hanley https://www.tiege.com/and ENEMY https://enemy.com/ says he feels so very vulnerable being the victim of theft. But what makes Alpha feel better is that he believes in karma, and karma is a b!tch.
Alpha was robbed
His earliest childhood memory is being robbed — he was only 2-years old. His family lost everything! He’s been robbed several times since then — and it never gets easier.
Another time he was robbed is when his identity was stolen. He received a bill from Verizon even though he doesn’t have an account with them. Someone opened an account with Verizon and got a free phone with Alpha’s credentials. He was advised to file a report at the police department — the police laughed at Alpha. He was told to get a credit monitoring service. Since then, he’s been notified 8 more times.
Then a year ago, he walked into a bank which the teller asked if he had changed his credentials. He was days away from having his bank account cleared out. He was told that public wifi was the cause — and how people got this data. He started using a virtual private network (VPN), which encrypts your data and hides you & your private information. He uses Private Internet Access, which he uses on his and his wife’s phones and other devices. He uses one membership to protect 10 devices, and it’s available to all the various devices.
VPNs provide security layers, including IP cloaking (masks your real IP address) and encryption (defend yourself from eavesdropping). Uncensored and unrestricted access to the internet, you can also get around these restrictions with VPNs. It’s easy to use — then surf securely. If you are online, you need to protect your anonymity and privacy. A VPN is the only way. It’s a huge no-brainer and affordable.
Pete & Pedro was scammed
Now, with Pete & Pedro, the situation was one of the hardest professional things Alpha had to deal with. He felt incompetent and became paranoid. He was losing sleep over it, and he wondered if it was even worth it. Pete & Pedro was on a WooCommerce shopping site at the time and had the PayPal Pay Flow Pro plugin to process credit cards. A glitch was happening where the order address wasn’t being matched to the card credentials.
A thief was placing fraudulent orders by scamming the system, and he was placing about 50 orders a day. To combat the theft, Alpha had a guy calling every order to verify each, and he hired an agency with fraud technology to look at each order. Later, Alpha figured out that the PayPal plugin was the cause. PayPal said that Pete & Pedro should have been using fraud protection along with the plugin. Pete & Pedro was shifted to Shopify, and the problem was solved.
