Alpha Diet | Beef versus Bison

If you are a vegan or vegetarian, this video is not for you as we’re talking about meat. In this video men’s style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM, AaronMarinoPete & Pedro , and Fashion Anchor tried bison for the 1st time at Ted’s Montana Grill about 6 years ago. He has recently rediscovered the benefits of bison.

Bison and buffalo are in the same family as cow but are considering wild game. If you love beef, you will like bison as it’s tastier. The way bison are raised is different than cow. Cow is raised with grain, antibiotics, and hormones. There are different laws related to bison: they are grass fed without antibiotics and hormones. They are leaner and cleaner — the flavor is more intense. Bison is 90% lean where cow is 80%. For a 3.5 ounce portion, it’s 170 calories (265 calories cow), 30 grams (28 grams cow) of power packed protein, and 6 grams of fat (17 grams fat cow).

Alpha’s been having bison about every 2-days now since he found it at Costco. Whole Foods also has the ground along with steaks and fillets. It’s spectacular and delicious. It’s a bit more expensive than beef. Alpha freezes packs in the freezer. Bison is tastier — and healthier!
