Alpha’s Dance Rules
- Learn to dance for a competitive advantage over the ladies — Alpha took ballroom dancing which has paid off exponentially
- Learn to dance fast and slow
- Be able to dance ‘well enough’ — be average at best without embarrassing yourself
- You will feel awkward and uncomfortable — it may even be scary
- Act like you’ve been there before — smile and have a good time even though inside you’re freaking out
- Be prepared — wear an antiperspirant deodorant and dress in layers (tee shirt with something over top)
- Practice — grab your cell phone with your music choices. Try different types of songs, get comfortable finding the rhythm and beat
- Find the beat and rhythm
- Have fun!
Two Different Dances to Practice
BASIC DANCE MOVE: Step touch is the first dance Alpha demonstrates. Let your upper body roll, soft with a little bounce.
SLOWER MOVE: it’s all about moving your hips. Hands around her waist or you can take it up a notch by putting your hand on her lower back. You can move in a circle around the dance floor or a slower rotation in a more crowded situation.
