Have you ever questioned the length of your tie? Aaron Marino of alpha m. gives his opinion on how long a man should wear his tie. Alpha keeps it simple.
His tie always lands at his torso on the tip-top of his belt buckle. If the tie were a pendulum, it would just barely nick the belt. If you have a longer torso or larger neck, get an extra long tie (6 – 8 inches longer than average tie). The back of the tie should be put down through the tab of the tie rather than sticking in the shirt. If the tie back is shorter than the tab, invest in a tie clip. If the back of the tie is extra long, tie a fatter knot.
