2. Ask questions which lead to more questions – information nugget after information nugget
3. Find something you have in common and then talk about that
4. Learn constantly
5. Talk about things you love or the other person loves
6. Tell a good story – take someone emotionally through what you’re talking about by covering characters, setting, plot, conflict, and resolution. Body language is powerful too.
