It’s that time of year again, the holidays! It’s party time! In this video men’s style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM, AaronMarino, and Pete & Pedro goes over how to mix a drink like a gent so you can throw a stylish party and add to your gentlemanly skill set.
Three Signature Cocktails
- Amsterdam Mule – use a metal mug. Use the juice of 1/2 lime. 2 ounces of high quality vodka, which Alpha prefers Amsterdam Spirits Vodka. Add 1/2 ounce of simple sugar. Fill cup to top with ice. Pour in non-alcoholic ginger beer. Garnish with lime. Smack a spring of mint and add to drink.
- Dirty Martini – use vodka or gin, which Alpha is using vodka. Martini’s can be stirred or shaken. Shake it up! Make the glass as cold as possible. Fill shaker with ice. Add 2 ounces of vodka. Add 1/2 ounce of dry vermouth. 1/2 ounce +/- of olive juice depending how dirty you like it. Shake for 5 to 10 seconds or else it’ll get watery. Pour and garnish with speared olive.
- Gin and Tonic – light and refreshing. You need a glass filled with ice. 1 1/2 ounce of gin. Add tonic water and fill the rest of the way. Garnish with lemon and lime.
