Do people respect you? Have you earned it? In this video men’s style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM, AaronMarino, Pete & Pedro , and Ollie says respect is earned over time. And with respect, people revere you and take you more seriously — do these seven things consistently. You are incredible and awesome — and Alpha respects you so damn much!

Seven Steps to High Esteem

  1. Take pride in yourself and who you are — believe in yourself and love yourself
  2. Be balanced and fair — don’t be focused on just winning and proving¬† your point
  3. Be a hard worker, productive, and disciplined — you need all three components to be respected
  4. Be smart (educated) in many topics / subjects
  5. Be kind & compassionate without being a push-over
  6. Be honest, trustworthy, and man of your word
  7. Stand up for yourself AND others

Go Down the {Rabbit Hole} of Knowledge

You can command respect by educating yourself on a variety of different topics in subjects — push yourself to learn new things or else you are going to stagnate mentally. If you’re not moving forward, you’re moving backwards; if you are not trying to expand your knowledge base and learn new cool skills, you are totally moving backwards and not going to be respected the way that you should be. There is no better way to learn super badass, cool things than with Skillshare.
